About Provider

Bardo Polanco, PhD, RDMS is a researcher and clinician specializing in maternal–fetal medicine and obstetrical imaging, with a strong focus on fetal growth, maternal cardiovascular physiology, and advanced fetal cardiac imaging.

He completed his graduate studies at the University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine), where he taught Molecular Biology and served as a co-investigator on research projects investigating the molecular mechanisms of DNA transcription. His work focused on understanding how gene expression is regulated at the transcription level. These insights later shaped his systems level approach to pregnancy and fetal development and an interest in maternal hemodynamics and perinatal ultrasound innovation.

He has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations that contribute to refining how fetal growth and cardiac function are assessed, with a special emphasis on integrating maternal cardiovascular health into fetal outcome research.
