Referring a self-pay patient

What your office needs to do so we can confirm the visit and collect payment cleanly at check-in.

  1. 01 Send the standard referral — demographics, indication, gestational age, and any prior imaging. Note "self-pay" on the cover sheet.
  2. 02 Skip the insurance card. No authorization or eligibility check is needed for a self-pay visit.
  3. 03 Our team confirms with the patient — we quote the cash price from this page and book the appointment.
  4. 04 Payment at check-in — the patient pays the full flat rate by card, cash, or check on the day of service. No balance bill afterward.
  5. 05 Itemized receipt provided — if the patient later submits to an out-of-network plan or HSA/FSA, we provide a receipt with CPT codes.

A note on these rates. Cash prices apply only to patients paying in full at the time of service and are independent of insurance. They cover the listed service only — additional findings on the day of service (e.g. an unplanned MCA Doppler or transvaginal scan) may incur an add-on charge, which we'll quote before performing. Prices are reviewed quarterly. If you're seeing this list outside of our official site, confirm with the office before quoting.
